What better reason to celebrate than a 50th wedding anniversary! This family came together from across the country to help celebrate this milestone with their parents.

It was one of those freezing cold days at the start of winter and the Bettles family wanted to sneak in a mini session before the winter formally began. This is one of my wonderful repeat clients and I always look forward to seeing them and especially their sweet little girl. Luckily little Miss D hung in there through the cold and gave us some sweet smiles. Keep an eye my blog for a follow up studio session with this little cutie!
I met the Reid family through another client, one of the biggest compliments I can get! It took some scheduling work but eventually we were able to find a time that worked and what a great day we had! Things are always risky at the end of fall when the weather gets colder but we found a great day with a dusting of snow but still warm enough that we could lose the coats for some shots. This is just such a picture perfect family! And I love the colours they incorporated!
I was so honored when I was contacted by the McKie family to do some photos of their family including their two gorgeous dogs. One of them was having some health issues and they weren't sure how much more time they would have with her. Let me tell you, when I met Tabby and Radar I would never have guessed that BOTH were in the elderly years. These two were so full of energy and you could see how much they really enjoyed getting out to the park to run around and have fun with their family. It was my absolute pleasure to help them freeze some time with their two beautiful dogs. As a dog owner myself I have an appreciation for what an important part of a family dogs become.
I just love when I get to do photos of friends, especially when their little guy is so gosh darn cute! It was a super chilly day at the start of the winter cold but this little guy was giving me smiles the whole time. Watch out ladies, he's going to be a heart breaker when he grows up! With the chilly cold we just did a super quick mini session to tide them over until spring.
