Spring is one of my favourite times of year to do photos. Most people love the fall but I'm a spring person all the way. I just love the light! And everything is so new and fresh. We had a gorgeous evening at Victoria park for the Omand/Schmidt family, and their little guy was so much fun. I love when everything just falls together perfectly.
2016 has gone by in a blur and here I am finally posting some of my wonderful sessions from the past year. The Heldmann family is one of my favourite families! They are always a ton of fun to work with...and with their high energy two year old (and a baby on the way) I'm so grateful for their laid back nature. We had a great time at Huron Natural Area and got some great shots!
I first met the Bettles family when this adorable little cutie was still in her Mommy's tummy. I've been so fortunate to have many more sessions with them since that day. I just love watching their little peanut grow up! What a wonderful fall day we had to explore the beautiful Huron Natural Area.
I have been photographing this family for the past 3 years, and it has been so fun watching their little ones grow. This year we went to Rockway Gardens, and what an evening we had for it! On such a cold night tonight I love to look back on warmer days. This was such a gorgeous location and a lot of fun for the kids to explore.
This summer I made some time to do some photos of my Husband's side of the family so we could get some pictures with all the kids together. Turns out we got one picture of all the kids together. What a riot that was! Six kids who were 7 and under together in one photo. I definitely had to use all my tricks with this group...but it was worth it!
It's been 4 years since I started my photography business, and I'm still forever in debt to this wonderfully supportive woman for encouraged me to follow my dream. Every year I look forward to capturing some Mom and Daughter photos of this gorgeous duo! They never disappoint with the giggles and fun times! Thank you for once again asking me to capture some of these special years as you watch your little princess grow. Time flies by way too fast.
It was a bright sunny morning at Victoria park and feeling much more like summer than it does today! I love when families want to come together to get pictures of the whole family. However, this little peanut totally stole this session. I don't think I got any smiles out of her but I got some dramatic flare! I can't get enough of her adorable little face.
This is one of those families that everybody wants to be a part of! They were so fun and when I think of "family", this is totally what I think of. What was supposed to be a quick 30 minute session turned into an hour! I just couldn't get enough of these guys. And I can't even begin to tell you about their beautiful backyard overlooking the Grand River. Picture perfect!
And some funny faces to top it all off...cuz what's a photo session without some silly faces?!
I love doing sessions with friends, especially when it means I get to see their cute little man growing up. Even better when this session isn't on a bitterly cold November day! The de Graaf's are true Jays fans and want the world to know it. I love the outfits! We had a lot of fun walking around Waterloo Park and I got oodles of smiles from their little guy...until the end of our session that was.
...this is what it looks like when you run out of smiles!
I met the Amaral family 2 years ago for a family session at Victoria Park. They were so much fun and I just love their two boys! You can imagine my delight when I was asked to do a session with the entire Amaral group. They were so much fun to work with! We had a great time walking through Soper Park and letting the kids run around and have a little fun in between poses. I really enjoyed getting a chance to meet all of the extended family members and hope to continue to capture moments for this wonderful family!
