As I've mentioned before, I don't do a lot of wedding photography. So when a friend asks me to capture their wedding I'm always very honoured...and this year it happened twice! I have to say that the two weddings I did this year have really sparked a fire in me for this kind of photography. It's a wonderful privilege to be part of such an important time in a couple's life, and the fact that this lovely couple was celebrating in Toronto made it even more fun. We had some struggles with the weather but it all came together in the end. And I swear that these two could be fashion models! Thank you again Ryan and Sarah for having me as your photographer. Wishing you love and happiness as you journey through life as Husband and Wife. Because they got married at Toronto City hall and had to sign some paperwork prior to the ceremony, this couple decided to do a first look for her parents as well as for each other. No matter where that first look happens it is always such a special moment. I just loved the proud look of the Bride's parents when they saw their Daughter. And nothing can beat the moment when the Bride and Groom see each other for the first time! It always brings a tear to my eye. What a beautiful setting for the first dance!

I don't do many weddings so I was very honored when Jessica asked me to do the photos for her and Jeff's wedding. Of course I had to say yes, and I'm so glad I did! The love Jessica and Jeff share is the stuff of fairy tales. The coming together of this family just warms my heart and I couldn't be happier that they found each other. They are a remarkable couple who share so much love that you can just see it in the way that they look at each other. It was so much fun to be part of such a special day for them. Wishing both of you a lifetime of happiness! The pictures of the guys getting ready were done by my second shooter and wonderful friend Katie Anne. We went to the beautiful Economical Trail area off Riverbend Road to do the wedding party photos. What an amazing spot for such a gorgeous couple! Everybody smile....and now make a silly face! And wedding photos aren't complete without everyone being a little bit crazy! Thank you Jessica and Jeff for choosing me to capture such a special moment in your lives!
Thank you to my friend Katie Anne (Katie Anne Photography) for being my second shooter for this wedding. |
