As I've mentioned before, I don't do a lot of wedding photography. So when a friend asks me to capture their wedding I'm always very honoured...and this year it happened twice! I have to say that the two weddings I did this year have really sparked a fire in me for this kind of photography. It's a wonderful privilege to be part of such an important time in a couple's life, and the fact that this lovely couple was celebrating in Toronto made it even more fun. We had some struggles with the weather but it all came together in the end. And I swear that these two could be fashion models! Thank you again Ryan and Sarah for having me as your photographer. Wishing you love and happiness as you journey through life as Husband and Wife.
Because they got married at Toronto City hall and had to sign some paperwork prior to the ceremony, this couple decided to do a first look for her parents as well as for each other. No matter where that first look happens it is always such a special moment. I just loved the proud look of the Bride's parents when they saw their Daughter. And nothing can beat the moment when the Bride and Groom see each other for the first time! It always brings a tear to my eye.
What a beautiful setting for the first dance!
